Football PlayerWith summer winding down and the weather seeming to cool a bit (for this week anyway), that means football season has arrived! These are perfect, easy-to-make recipes that will be great this fall. Crock pots are a great go to for anyone with a busy schedule. All you need to do is prep the pot, plug them in, and enjoy delicious meals hours later.

Whether you are busy getting kids from one activity to the next or posted up in your lucky gameday spot, these are quick to make and won’t take too much time from your important schedule!

No Bean Crock -Pot Chili

  • 1 TBS Oil
  • 2 Cups Chopped Onion
  • 1 LBS Ground Beef (could also use chicken or turkey)

Heat the oil a pan and use to saute the onion and meat.

Then add:

  • 2, 28 Ounce Cans Crushed Tomato
  • 1, 6 Ounce Can Tomato Sauce
  • 1 Cup Chopped Celery
  • 1 Cup Chopped Carrots
  • 2 TBS Chili Powder
  • 1 tsp Cumin
  • 1 tsp Basil
  • 1 tsp Oregano
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1/4 tsp ground mustard
  • 1/4 tsp Cayenne Pepper

Cook on low for 6-8 hours.

Grain-Free “Corn Bread”

  • 1/4 Cup Almond Butter
  • 2 TBS Coconut Oil
  • 3 Organic Eggs, Beaten
  • 1/2 tsp Pure Vanilla Extract
  • 2 TBS Organic Honey
  • Packet of Stevia OR a little extra honey
  • 1 Cup Almond Flour
  • 1 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Sea Salt


  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees
  2. Melt the almond butter and coconut oil in the microwave or over the low heat on the stove
  3. Stir vanilla extract, eggs, honey and stevia into the melted almond butter and coconut oil mixture in a small bowl
  4. Mix dry ingredients (almond flour, baking powder, and salt) in a medium size bowl
  5. Combine wet ingredients with dry ingredients and stir well
  6. Pour into an 8×8 baking dish/pan greased with coconut oil (or lined with parchment paper)
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until done (use a for to test the center)
